SECRETS BUBBLING

A tall black shape I watch, through steam
That I'm inhaling as I dream
Face yellowed like a parchment scroll
On which my deepest secret's told
His voice is heavy, liquid, hot
As if it bubbled in the pot
I drink it in and lose my mind
Take this pestle, powder grind
Eye of newt and tongue of bat
Quite distracting concept, that;
Have I been lured? Was there some will,
Some potion mixed in dungeon's chill
That melts resistance in my veins
And draws me to this man so strange
Oh what was in that simple drink?
Upon the stony floor I sink
And here is where I can't escape
Surrender to . . . . . . .

;-)
