Hey girl wuz up isn't this so boring? But at least I have something
yummy to look at. Spock looks so good in black, doesn't he? I wish
he'd wear a black shirt once instead of just black pants. Even though
the blue looks good too. I can't wait until lunch. He usually sits @
our table and I brought candy today so maybe I can get him to smile
about something b-sides schoolwork. Why do you have your cheerleading
uniform on? I thought dresses that short weren't allowed in the dress
code. I better stop now so Komack doesn't catch me writing notes.

Hey hon :-) Yeah you are right, Spock should wear black. You look good
in that weird yellow color you have on, but I don't think everyone
would. What kind of candy did you bring? Can I have some now, I'm SO
STARVING!! Oh I have my uniform on because there's a pep rally today
and we all have to wear our dresses. Except Hikaru LOL. I still can't
get over having a boy as head cheerleader, but he's got that big goofy
psycho smile when he gets happy so I guess iz all good. Do you know if
Spock likes you back? I can ask him for you if you want. I won't tell
him you asked first. Well see you at lunch.

Hey Len :-) Can you do me a favor? Can you ask Spock if he would ever
go out with Jim in a way that sounds like you're just asking and it
doesn't really matter? Jim & I have been passing notes all period and
he knows we're like bff so he'd know it was Jim really wanting to know
and it would look weird. Are you coming to the pep rally? Janice and I
get to be the tops of the cheer pyramids this time I AM SO EXCITED!!!
I just hope Hikaru doesn't drop me because that would SUCK. Can't wait
till lunch... this is SO boring.

While I do not ordinarily answer questions of such a personal nature,
I understand that you are quite bored by the topic of Komack's lecture
and wish to participate in meaningless theoretical gossip. To answer
your question, yes, I find Jim Kirk quite attractive as a potential
partner. He is second in the class, president of the culture club, and
a pleasing companion. His physical beauty has also not gone
unnnoticed.
There is no homework from yesterday's chemistry lesson. We spent the
entire period designing our midterm lab projects. You can, in all
probability, make up the work after school some day this week, or
perhaps during the pep rally-- which, of course, I shall not be
attending. I find the science lab unendingly more entertaining.
Come by my house this weekend, because I have acquired a new game for
the Playstation 2.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG :-) :-) :-) :-) You are amazing. Thanks for not
coming with Spock and I at lunch when we went to get sodas from the
machine outside, by the way. He is so cool!!! When we got to the
machine no one else was out there cuz it was so early so we had time
to talk by ourselves. I didn't know how else to start so I asked him
why he likes hanging out with me. He said that I'm smart in a
different kind of way from him and that he has fun swopping ideas with
me. I guess with him being first in the class and stuff, being smart
enough to talk about science stuff with him is a big plus. Then he
asked why I liked hanging out with him, since he's so different from
most of my other friends. Like he's not all loud and party-animal like
some of you guys. So I told him I liked the interesting things he
talks about, and that him being so different is his way of being cool.
Then we both kind of just stood there, looking at each other, so
finally I'm just like, you know, Spock, I was wondering if we could be
more than friends. So he makes that face that's so cute!!! with the
eyebrow... :-)
And then he's like, your words are pleasing to my ears... so I was
like, you're saying yes? and he's like yes, Jim, and then we just kind
of stood there... so then he goes, are you attending the pep rally
later? and I said I didn't know, since I did kind of want to see
Hikaru act all silly but that it wasn't that important and why?
So then he asks me if I want to skip the pep rally and hang out with
him in the science lab storeroom where he's doing his independant
study project. I can't wait!!!! Everybody will be at the pep rally and
nobody ever goes into the storeroom during the afternoon anyway. Every
time I look at him now I'm like oh my god. I cannot wait. So I'm sorry
I have to miss your pyramid, but good luck anyway!! Love ya girl!

Wow, that is soooo cool. Good luck with him! Don't feel bad about
missing the pep rally. You'll get to see me do the pyramid at some

Where were you all of yesterday afternoon?? I must have called you
four or five times and kept getting your answering machine! I have to
tell you ALL ABOUT YESTERDAY *sigh*...
OK. So after sixth period got out, I snuck away from the crowd and
went to the science lab storeroom. I think Spock and I were the only
people on the whole second floor, so I felt pretty comfortable. He
looked so serious, standing there focused on his work when I walked
in. But when he saw me, I'm almost sure he would have dropped his test
tubes all over the floor if he wasn't... him. I asked him what he was
working on and we made small talk about chemical analysis and
synthesis of sugar substitutes and some other stuff that came up. Then
I reached out and put my hand over his on the countertop. He was sooo
warm! I could feel my heart beating really hard and I almost thought I
needed to get a drink of water but then he put his other hand over
mine and then everything got really quiet. I think the clock even
stopped ticking. He wanted to know how long I had liked him. I told
him about that time I saw him and Tina Pring fighting in the
cafeteria. It was the only time I'd ever seen him not acting all
scientific, and the thought of all that emotion and hot blood hiding
underneath the way he is most of the time just made me start thinking
of him in a different way. Then I told him he's really hot. He took my
hand and held it to his face and then made some kind of comment taking
my statement literally. For a second, I didn't realize he was kidding,
his sense of humor is so deadpan. He's so damn sexy!! His face was so
soft and warm and I had to get closer to him. We kissed and hugged for
the next hour and we only stopped because the bell rang. He drove me
home but he couldn't stay because he had to go tutor people. But he's
coming over on Friday night for dinner... I'll have to warn my mom
because he's vegetarian, but that's ok because she makes such great
lasagna. I'm in love!! He's so amazing.
I heard you did really well yesterday, by the way. Have you thought of
going to college for dance? I know you want to do telecommunications
but lots of people are doing double majors these days. Spock wants to
double major in chemistry and anthropology. That just about covers
everything, right? Oh my god I still can't believe we're going out...

Hey hon :-) That sux about Komack taking away that note you wrote. It
looked really long. Was it about yesterday? I'm sorry I wasn't home
when you called. Hikaru and some of the other girls and I stayed at
school just clowning around and hanging out and stuff until we left to
go cheer at the game. Too bad about the Vulcans, I guess, but I can
tell from the way you've been bouncing around all day how yesterday
went and that's more important than football, definitely. Even Spock
looks sort of more contented than usual.
Can't wait till lunch-- I want to hear all about it!!!!!!!
