Title: He's Coming Author: rolletti Fandom: Star Trek TOS Pairing: Spock/Uhura Rating: G E-mail for feedback: rolletti@yahoo.com Comedy Disclaimer: Yeah I don't own the characters Parmount does, but it's me they like to play with. He's Coming A frightened Scotty called the bridge. "Scott here Captain, it's begun, Spock has just left engineering and he's madder than a le'matya who's had its babies stolen." "Thanks Scotty." Kirk sat there wandering if Spock had an angry expression on his face. Kirk wouldn't show his fear, but subconsciously he chewed his bottom lip. "Kirk to Auxiliary, Spock is headed your way." "Auxiliary here. Sir, he just passed us. I'll pass the word on to the Impulse Deck." "Attention Impulse Deck Mr. Spock is about to pass your way." Dismayed crewmembers ran to their hiding places not wishing to be seen. "This is the Impulse Deck. Clear turbo lift B. Mr. Spock will be in your area in two minutes, again Mr. Spock will be in your area in two minutes." Six crewmembers were coming back from lunch tried to hurry and escape, but they only succeeded to run and bump into each other. One minute remaining. They decided to go down the ladder. "Sickbay," said breathless Joe into the wall comm. "Sickbay, McCoy here." "Doctor, he's coming, He's coming your way!!!" "Calm down lieutenant and stop that hysterical screaming. Who's coming?" "SPOCK!!" "Oh no," he whispered to himself. He ran out into the hall and shouted, "What are you crewmen standing around for, are you crazy? Haven't you heard? Spock is coming and I don't want to bandage anyone up by the time he leaves this area. RUN!! Hide, save yourselves." McCoy then ran back to Sickbay and punched a button on the wall comm. "Kirk here." "It's me Jim. He's just about to pass this way. I'm shaking like a leaf during an approaching tornado and I'm sweat'in like a pig to boot." "Ok Bones, don't leave sickbay until he's gone." "Are you insane? I'm locked up in here tighter than an Aldelberan Shell Mouth. I wouldn't care if ten Romulans, ten Klingons, ten Orions, ten gaseous killer clouds, ten planet eaters and ten twentieth century brain surgeons were ready to operate, were locked up with me. You're lucky; he's not coming to the bridge. He's going to go straight to the crew's quarters. McCoy out." Kirk sat there unable to comprehend how his very, logical, non-emotional First Officer could get so worked up. Granted she shouldn't have done what she did, knowing he's a Vulcan. That woman sure knows exactly which of his buttons to push. He shivered despite himself, remembering what happened the last time. "OK," he thought to himself. "I'll head him off and try to reason with him." Terrified over what he would find, he found that he couldn't leave his seat. Punching a button on his chair, he opted to warn the crew. "Attention, this is the Captain speaking. Clear the hall of crew quarters A. Repeat, Clear the hall of crew quarters A. Mr. Spock..." shudder, "Mr. Spock is on his way." Everyone ran for cover except one crewman. He was much to petrified to move. Spock approached the man and said severely, "Crewman, report to duty." The terror stricken man fainted. Another crewman peaked out and saw the man lying still on the floor. He turned to the person hiding with him. "I think Spock killed him." They tried to cower deeper in their hole, trying to hold onto the ladder wrung. Spock walked right into his quarters and stopped as the door closed. He looked around and did not see her. Through their marriage bond he knew she was there, he felt her presence. He walked in the bathing room, she wasn't there, he walked into the bedroom, she wasn't there, he looked under the bed, she wasn't there either. He looked at the closet. Spock walked up to it, reached in as it opened and pulled Uhura out. He grabbed her by her arms and brought her so close to him; he could smell her earthy scent. With a look of defiance, she raised her chin and looked at her husband with dark Nubian eyes. She was ready to face the penalty. He stood there amused, looking at her arrayed in all her rebellion. "You deserve everything you get." She raised her chin even higher, holding her breath. Then it happened. He gave her a deep passionate kiss that wouldn't stop. After he left her trembling in his arms he said softly, "Happy Anniversary. Computer, lights out."
